Heavy construction equipments are required in all parts of the world. Their demand has increased all the more after the growing economy in the Indian sub-continent, Middle East, Far East and Oriental nations as well.
Countries like China, Singapore, etc. are developing at an exponential rate in the area of infrastructure development. Chinese infrastructure has become so strong in the recent past that even the interior cities and remote areas are also well laid with clean broad roads, buildings, shopping malls, bridges, etc. All this growth has let to increase in the construction equipment sales.
Construction equipment sales had been most in the western regions in the decades of sixties to mid-eighties. But in past twenty years the economical growth in the eastern part of the globe had been exponential. The rise in the middle class and better earning resources has led to the growth of the economy. This growth has called for more development of residential and commercial outlets, etc. The increase in the development of such outlets has led to increase in the construction job works. These job works have adapted to the changing developmental pattern thus construction equipment sales have gathered pace equivocally.
More and more builders and architects have come together and large construction companies have built boulders all along the economical growth. Huge towers, shopping malls, big broad roads, expressways, highways, bridges, flyovers, etc. have led to the increase in construction equipment sales. Since all this development work calls for larger companies to shoulder all kinds of job works, many companies have made strategic partnerships, joint ventures, governmental bodings and alliances with the domestic counterpart for better growth. The US Navy has asked Boeing to make good on a four-year-old promise to accelerate deliveries of P-8A Poseidon long-range maritime patrol and reconnaissance aircraft, following last December’s grounding of around a quarter of its Lockheed P-3C Orions.
“We’re working with the navy right now on a capacity analysis to understand what the possible rates out of the factory are,” says Boeing Integrated Defense Systems P-8A programme manager Bob Feldmann. “There’s a gap in capability that needs to be filled.”
Boeing Commercial Airplanes vice-president P-8A Mo Yahyavi says the aircraft manufacturer believes it can build “18-24 airplanes per year” for the USN and international customers. The navy has ordered 108 aircraft for service-entry from 2013, to be delivered at a rate of 13 a year.
Boeing on 9 June achieved the power-on milestone for the first P-8A development aircraft, which is also the first 737 to be assembled on a third, ITAR-controlled moving assembly line set up at the company’s factory in Renton, Washington.
In 2004, the P-8A won the USN’s multi-mission maritime aircraft contract based on Boeing’s lowest-priced bid, and a promise that the manufacturer could accelerate the in-service date by up to one year.
Boeing is for the first time attempting to integrate production of a military airliner derivative with its commercial assembly lines, rather than roll-out a “green” aircraft for modification. The P-8A combines the fuselage of the 737-800 with the wing of the longer -900, but its airframe is strengthened to cope with sustained g-loadings.
“Rather than building a green airplane, flying it someplace, cutting it up and trying to make it into a military aircraft, our approach is radically different on this programme,” says Feldmann. “We decided to build to the navy requirements and design-in from the ground up, so that the aircraft is built with a bomb bay and all the structure, duct work and wiring in it.”

As a female child of the 60’s, I grew up in New Hampshire when a sports car was just the thing for those super-cool young men or the balding, Aqua-Velva wearing, slightly paunchy, middle-aged Peter Pans out there. Women racecar drivers were practically unheard of, and my mother drove a nice, respectable Ford station wagon, while my older sister drove a rather nondescript, beige 1968 Chevy Nova, hardly anything to make my pre-teen peers stop and gaze in awestruck, open-mouthed wonder.
My older brother, however, drove a 1968 Rally Red Corvette with T-tops, which, according to my ten year old brain was the epitome of cool. He shopped around at the used car Dover dealers and used car dealers until he found the right one. The deep-throated rumble of that 327c1 350hp engine when he roared off down the street was music to my ears. I remember marveling at the hidden windshield wipers and the unmistakable smell of the black leather upholstery heated by the midday sun. I remember how that same black leather upholstery would sear the backs of my shorts-clad legs during the summer on the rare occasions when I did get to ride in that magnificent vehicle (which was only when my mother forced my brother to take me to swim lessons at the pool when she got too busy.) But I didn’t care. The wide-eyed stares and envious remarks from my swim class more than made up for the pain when I got in with a flourish and shut the door I’d give my friends a lofty wave as we made our way out of the parking lot, that magnificent engine purring away. My brother knew what he was doing – he would back out of the space, then proceed slowly and nonchalantly to the stop sign at the corner, at which he would look both ways, then floor it. The engine would roar like a tiger as we peeled out into the road, and we would exit in high style, him smirking and glancing in the rear view mirror while my friends all stood stock-still, visibly impressed. The memory of that sweet slice of automotive heaven will stay with me for the rest of my days.
Fast forward 30 years later. I am now a married, professional businesswoman with a husband and three kids, one in college and two not far behind. I drive a minivan (only when I have to) and a 1997 slightly upscale red Eagle Talon ESI, which boasts a 2.0-liter DOHC four-cylinder with 16 valves. It’s only 140 horsepower, but it still looks good for its age (like me I hope) and it’s paid for. Men and boys often stop me at the gas pump and ask if I want to sell it. I always say no.
But my real baby is garaged 9 months out of the year, isn’t driven in the rain, and never except in summer. It’s my 2003 garnet red Mazda MX5 convertible. It’s a five-speed (let’s admit it, an automatic transmission in a sports car is a travesty.) It has a 1,839 cc 1.8 liter 4 in-line front engine with DOHC, and at 142 HP, it’s affordable (remember those three kids and the mortgage) and fun to drive. And, like any woman of good breeding, I tactfully ignore the neighbors’ smiling tongue-in-cheek references to my “second youth” when I drive that baby down the street. And sometimes when nobody’s around, I peel out, just for fun.
It seems I am not the only woman in love with the sports car. Times certainly have changed. According to recent statistics, some 25 percent of Corvettes are bought by women — not bad for a car that typically stickers at anywhere from $44,000 to $65,000. And I see more and more boomers like myself driving sexy retro-styled cars these days. Hmmm…I’m driving a Miata in my forties, will I be driving a ’68 Corvette in my 60’s? I sure hope so.

Motorized vehicles include motorhomes and van campers, both of which are self-contained units built on a truck or van chassis with living, sleeping, cooking, and bathroom facilities accessible from the driver’s seat without leaving the vehicle. Motorhomes are divided into type A, B, and C classifications.
For some RVers just starting out and not certain how much time they’ll spend camping, the type B motorhome, a van camper, or van conversion, might be the answer. Easy to drive and park with good gas mileage, these self-contained compact vehicles work well for travelers on the go who don’t mind the sometimes cramped sleeping and living quarters. Raised roofs or lowered floor sections allow passengers to stand upright, at least in the center of the vehicle, while galleys, fresh water hookups, sitting and dining areas that convert to beds, sometimes even toilets and showers, make these vehicles surprisingly livable.
Familiar, convenient and affordable, the class C motorhome packs a lot of living in a compact space. Also called mini-motorhomes, the units are built on a truck or van chassis, and usually range in length from 19 to 31 feet long. Widebody designs up to 102 inches across and diesel engine options are available, as well as low-profile models that can be telescoped for travel and storage to under eight feet high. Mini-motorhomes contain all the livability of larger motorhomes but take up less parking and campground space.
Class A motorhomes refers to full-size motorhomes like our 36-foot Itasca Sunflyer. Bus-type vehicles also fall into this category, which appeals to full-time RVers and those who go on extended trips.

Caterpillar Incorporated, also known as CAT is a United States based corporation that is based in Peoria, Illinois. The company commonly known as CAT is known around the world as the largest manufacturer of construction equipment and mining equipment, diesel and natural gas engines, and industrial gas turbines.
Well known and famous for their products that feature the Caterpillar track and distinctive yellow paint, CAT produces a wide range of heavy equipment for all types of jobs, including the very popular Caterpillar D9 bulldozer.
History
The story of CAT dates back to the late 19th century, when Daniel Best and Benjamin Holt were experimenting with different ways to fulfill the promise that steam tractors held for farm work. Prior to 1925, the Holt family had pioneered track tractors and gasoline powered engines. After the companies of Best and Holt were merged, the company went through several changes then at the end of World War 2, they began to grow at a very fast pace, launching the first venture outside of the country in 1950, which marked the beginning of CAT development into a big corporation.

Truck tire chains can be purchased for everything from a pickup truck to an 18-wheeler. Drivers can find a chain to fit just about any need, spanning every size and style, and desired performance.
